Prof Rama Rawat
Prof Rama Rawat is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. She did her PhD at Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore. Her research interests include harmonic analysis on Lie groups.
Title of the talk: A brief introduction to Fourier transform on \R^n and some results around Wiener-Tauberian theorem
Abstract:The first part of talk will focus on definition and basic properties of Euclidean Fourier transform. In the subsequent part, we will discuss some results around Wiener-Tauberian theorem as an application.
